Meet The William Stanley Group

Jessie Lindsay joined The William Stanley Group in August 2026, bringing nearly two decades of public accounting experience and deep expertise in financial reporting, technical accounting, and assurance. A seasoned CPA, she combines rigorous technical knowledge with practical judgment—helping clients strengthen their accounting functions, resolve complex issues, and produce accurate, decision-ready financial information.

Before joining the firm, Jessie spent nearly 19 years with FORVIS, formerly Dixon Hughes Goodman, where she most recently served as a Director. She prepared and reviewed financial statements and reporting packages under U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and Statutory Accounting Principles for clients across a range of industries. She also led all phases of assurance engagements, from planning and internal control evaluation through analytical testing and final financial reporting.

Throughout her tenure, Jessie served as a trusted advisor to prominent clients, providing guidance on complex accounting matters, the implementation of new accounting standards, and improvements to financial reporting processes. Her experience includes balance sheet reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, accounting research, financial analysis, and the oversight of sophisticated reporting environments and ERP systems.

Jessie also supervised and developed accounting professionals at multiple levels, maintaining exacting standards for quality, accuracy, and timeliness. She contributed to business development, recruiting, and firmwide initiatives, including FORVIS Women Forward—reflecting her commitment to both professional excellence and the advancement of others.

Jessie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from West Virginia University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

At The William Stanley Group, Jessie leads the firm’s accounting services and supports its Executive Advisory clients. She is known for her technical depth, thoughtful judgment, and ability to bring clarity and discipline to complex financial matters—ensuring clients have reliable information and a strong accounting foundation from which to make confident decisions.
